Welcome to Chembx, the creative studio of a Nigerian professional artist and creative designer based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Chembx (RC 2643377) is a proudly Nigerian art studio dedicated to the beauty and excellence of African drawings, sketching, portrait paintings, illustrations, sculpture, and crafts. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, we have over 20 years of experience in creating timeless portrait artworks that celebrate identity, culture, and creativity.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of painting many distinguished individuals—both young and old—across various walks of life. Each piece is crafted with precision, emotion, and deep respect for our subjects and their stories.

On this website, you will find a curated selection of our notable portrait paintings and other artistic works we've completed throughout the years. These pieces reflect our passion for African heritage and our commitment to excellence in visual storytelling.

With extensive experience in visual arts and creative production, Chembx specializes in creating original artworks, realistic portrait paintings and drawings, African art, sculptures, custom awards, plaques, signage, engraving, branding, and other customized creative works for individuals, companies, organizations, schools, churches, and institutions.

My Artistic Journey

Art has been a major part of my professional life, with a strong foundation in Fine and Applied Arts and practical experience across different areas of traditional and contemporary visual art.

Over the years, I have developed skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, design, fabrication, engraving, and creative production. My approach combines artistic creativity with careful attention to detail, allowing me to create artworks and customized products that are both visually appealing and professionally finished.

My work is inspired by the beauty of people, African culture, nature, everyday life, and the ability of art to preserve memories and communicate ideas.

My Areas of Expertise

Portrait Painting & Drawing

I create realistic and expressive portraits using different artistic techniques and materials, including pencil, charcoal, oil colour, acrylic, and other media.

Portrait commissions can be created for individuals, families, special occasions, memorials, gifts, offices, and corporate spaces.

African & Contemporary Art

I create original African-inspired artworks and contemporary pieces that celebrate African identity, culture, people, stories, and artistic expression.

Sculpture & Molding

My sculpture services include clay modeling, human busts, animal sculptures, relief sculptures, fiberglass casting, cement sculpture, and customized three-dimensional artworks.

Awards & Plaques

I design and produce customized awards, trophies, crystal awards, 3D cube crystal awards, acrylic awards, wooden plaques, gold plaques, and other recognition products for organizations, companies, schools, churches, events, and special occasions.

Signage & Branding

I provide professional signage and branding solutions, including signboards, indoor and outdoor signs, company signs, acrylic signs, engraved signs, and customized business identity materials.

Engraving & Creative Fabrication

My creative production services also include laser engraving, marble engraving, customized plaques, company identity products, and other personalized items.

Graphic & Creative Design

I also provide graphic design and digital creative services for businesses, organizations, individuals, and brands that need professional visual communication.

Serving Clients in Nigeria and Beyond

Whether you need a custom portrait, original artwork, sculpture, company sign, engraved plaque, award, branding material, or another customized creative project, the goal is always to provide professional craftsmanship and a finished product that meets the client's requirements.

My Philosophy

I believe that good art is more than simply creating something beautiful. It should communicate an idea, preserve a memory, celebrate a person, represent an organization, or create an emotional connection.

Every project deserves attention to detail, creativity, patience, and professional craftsmanship.
